Holy Smokes

I watched the two-hour premier of Crusoe last night. Talk about slashable TV, holy smokes. I loved it. The show wasn’t on my to-watch list, but I had a lazy evening and, boy, am I glad that I tuned in. I don’t think it’s the best new show of the season, not by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s the most fun/slashy to watch. Most noteworthy: the absence of women. I mean we’re talking deserted island here and two men devoted to each other. It can’t get much better than that.

On a sidenote: I had to read Robinson Crusoe in school and I don’t remember him having been married at all. But hey, the TV people had to get a female character in there somehow :-)
